Futurama Season Premiere Sneak Peek [Video]

Futurama returns to Comedy Central tonight with the seventh season premiere episode, titled "Neutopia." And yep, Fry has boobies. Here's the official episode synopsis:

In the premiere episode, "Neutopia," the Planet Express crew crash-lands on an unknown world, where they encounter a bizarre alien who is unfamiliar with the concept of gender. The creature subsequently conducts a series of experiments, modifying the crew members’ sexual characteristics in strange and wondrous ways.

Remember when summer TV was just lame reruns? Those days are ovah! We've got True Blood, Hospital, Weeds, and we've got Futurama returning on June 23!

There's really nothing that can prepare you for that, I don't care how many cons you've been to. The site of a lobster monster doctor is going to startle you pretty much every time. And if I'm not mistaken that's a Dr. Rockzo mostly off-camera, on the right.

And not a hot Harley or Poison Ivy in sight. I would go home pretty traumatized from that con.

Gotta Get Down on Fry Day!

So, uh wow. I just heard the infamous Rebecca Black for the first time earlier today and - I'm speechless. I don't approve of the hate sent her way, but neither do I condone a culture that allowed that song to spread in the first place.

I haven't been this embarrassed to be an American since the 2004 presidential election.

Honestly though, excessive use of auto-tuning and generic rapper-for-hire aside, it's really no worse than anything Bono and the Edge wrote for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark - make of that what you will.

But anyways! It's the weekend, time to set your mullet free from it's scrunchie, pop your collah and go paint the town!

It's Fry Day!  If nothing else, let's celebrate the fact that Futurama's been renewed for another two years!

Good News, Everyone - Futurama Renewed!

All glory to the Hypno-Toad! Comedy Central has officially renewed Futurama for another 2 episodes, two 13-episode seasons that will guarantee the show will air through 2013, assuming the world's still around and all.

Seriously, between this and the recent announcement of the Venture Bros. renewal, it's a damn fine time to be an animation fan.

Oh, and FYI Futurama is totally owning Netflix right now - as of this writing, every single DVD, including the latest release, Volume 5, is available for instant streaming.

Irritating man punched in the face after Zoidberg impression

Comedy Central is reporting that a man’s uninvited Zoidberg impression didn’t go over well during a late night jaunt in early February, and the Futurama fan suffered a chipped tooth and possible broken nose during the ensuing dustup. (Do x-rays take over two weeks to develop?)

THE FUTURAMA HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR Premieres on Comedy Central November 21st

Though the series’ 100th episode a little while back served as a sort of season finale, the final episode in the most recent run of Futurama will actually air in the form of The Futurama Holiday Spectacular. Comedy Central announced today via press release that the three-part holiday episode will premire on the cable channel on Sunday, November 21st at 10/9c.
