Joss Whedon Illustrated by Cliff Chiang

Update: image has been removed at the request of GQ.

Wonder Woman artist Cliff Chiang drew some very cool illustrations of Joss Whedon for the May issue of GQ. The art for the article titled 'The Geek Shall Inherit the Earth' takes a look indie Joss' head, and has me hoping to see Chiang do a stint on one of the Dark Horse Whedonverse titles.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 #1 Preview

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is returning for season 9, written by Joss Whedon with Andrew Chambliss of the CW's The Vampire Diaries!

Season 8 ended with a bang when Buffy cut the world off from the hell dimensions and all supernatural influence. Great, right? Except Buffy has left her best friend, Willow, powerless, and ended the long line of vampire slayers, leaving her hated by the hundreds of girls who recently stood behind her. Newly relocated to San Francisco, Buffy can count on a fresh start, and focus on what she's good at--slaying.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 #1 hits stores on September 14. Check out the preview below!

'Avengers' Set Pics and Video of Captain America and Thor

The Avengers are assembled on the streets of Cleveland, where they're shooting a climactic fight scene that's actually supposed to be set in Times Square - but see, the Times Square is full of tourists who will actually get really excited when they see fireballs and explosions, and they'll gather around and ruin shots with their flash photography and wrongful death lawsuits.

Plus, Joss Whedon is naturally drawn to Cleveland, as it's the currently home to the Hellmouth. So check ou these awesome pics of Captain America and Thor in battlle - and a video that, while a lot granier then the pictures, is still a video and therefore pretty sweet. Enjoy!
