Jackie Cooper, Superman Movie's Perry White, Dead at 88

Actor Jackie Cooper, former child star who went on to play Perry White in 1978's Superman movie, died aged 88 in a Santa Monica rest home Tuesday. A man with a long and accomplished career both on-and off-camera (he was a development executive for several years before the Perry White role brought him back to acting), he will be missed.
