Gareb Shamus: The Seth Godin of Comics?

Well, after unceremoniously dumping his magazines and their staff, followed by the most revoltingly self-congratulatory interview I've seen in some time (and that's saying something), Wizard publisher Gareb Shamus seems bent on going from self-described "pioneer" to insufferable guru.

In the world of comics, it all begins with a great story - whether you're reading a comic, pitching your editor or trying to sell your property as a movie. In life and in business, telling great stories is also the key to success!

My friend, Peter Guber, Batman and Rain Man producer, just wrote a new book, "Tell to Win: Connect, Persuade and Triumph with the Hidden Power of Story," that will immediately change your life.

It empowers you on how to tell emotionally resonant stories that persuade, motivate and excite you to reach your goals for success and most importantly, how it provides the impetus for them to viral market it for you.

When you have the likes of President Bill Clinton, Deepak Chopra, and even myself (yes, I'm in the book) among many others, revealing how they've told to win, you can't help but soak up the wisdom of their stories. I know I did.

The book will be published March 1, 2011 from Crown/Random House. But, if you pre-order now, prior to March 1, 2011, you'll gain access to a digital gift bag chock full of leadership, marketing and social media resources.

I whole-heartedly endorse the book and look forward to you succeeding by "Telling to Win."

See ya!

Gareb

Super.

Hopefully this can't-miss self-help "believe to achieve" crapspeak can help some of the former staffers of Wizard and ToyFare who ya know, "they’re people who have just lost their jobs. And it’s very unfortunate, but unfortunately you’ve got to take what they say with a grain of salt", procure gainful employment and perhaps even be allowed to comment on their past work experience.
