NPR Honors the Best and Worst Superhero Flicks

It was a superheroic summer at the theaters this year, as everyone from Captain America to Young Professor X took a turn on the silver screen. I still remember the day Christopher Reeve made me believe a man could fly in the first Superman movie. Of course I also remember Jennifer Garner as Elektra.
Superheroes are life writ large, and movies based on their four-color exploits are often really great or really awful, so much so that even the real epic fails can be fun in the right setting.
(This kind of setting)
This summer had some truly great movies, and it also had Green Lantern. NPR's 'Dexy awards' honor them all, from best to worst to 'Best Sartorial Evocation of Thurston Howell III'.
Check 'em out at NPR.org.
