THQ Australia was originally set to produce the video game adaptation of The Avengers movie, but that project was canceled last month, along with a sizable portion of their scheduled games as the company fired or laid off more than 200 employees and freelancers.

The Avengers game was clearly pretty far into development, as evidenced by this footage that leaked online over the weekend. The footage from the aborted game, a first person action/adventure smash-em-up, is EXTREMELY spoiler-filled, as it shows both locations and many unannounced villains.
